Morbius is a 2022 American superhuman film in light of the Marvel Comics character of a similar name, delivered by Columbia Pictures in relationship with Marvel. Appropriated by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the third film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU). Coordinated by Daniel Espinosa and composed by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, it stars Jared Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius, close by Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. In the film, Morbius and his proxy sibling Milo become living vampires in the wake of restoring themselves of an uncommon blood sickness.

There were a few endeavors to carry Morbius to the big screen starting around 1998, including joining the Blade establishment and having a performance film created by Artisan Entertainment, neither of which at any point happened as expected. In the wake of declaring plans for another common universe of movies motivated by Spider-Man related characters starting with Venom (2018), Sony started fostering a film in light of Morbius. Sazama and Sharpless had composed a content by November 2017, and Leto and Espinosa formally participated in June 2018. Work on the film started toward the year's end with additional projecting, in front of creation beginning in London in February 2019.
